Wonderful crowd at the Huntington Library. Long line of people asking for autographed copies of the book.
Best request: A guy asked me to write this note to his girlfriend in the copy of the book her bought for her:
“As an expert, I can tell you that Bob is NOT annoying, You should say “yes” to his marriage proposal.”
OK, his name wasn’t Bob, but the rest is 100% true.
This should come before Westwood. The B&N in University Village was very friendly. So were the gang at KUOW.
Enthusiastic crowd at the B&N in Westwood. Blondie samples for all.
Normally, halfalogues don’t bug me all that much…but there’s a doozy here at the gate. A guy behind me with a raspy voice is talking about people he’s considering hiring. While I’m sort of curious to know what his company does, and what positions he’s hiring for, right now I wish he’d just stop talking.
No, there’s more. He said goodbye, but then he started up again. Now he’s talking about clearances…
Now he’s done. Really done. Phew.
Tomorrow it’s the first stop on the Annoying book tour. Denver. Joe is planning to provide detailed info from the road. Here’s hoping something interesting happens….
