Best request: A guy asked me to write this note to his girlfriend in the copy of the book her bought for her:
“As an expert, I can tell you that Bob is NOT annoying, You should say “yes” to his marriage proposal.”
OK, his name wasn’t Bob, but the rest is 100% true.

You know what was annoying about the Huntington event? The Huntington Library posted on their website a 7:30 start time. I arrived at 7:40 and you were almost done with your lecture! What a bummer. I’m sorry to have missed most of the event.
